Separated a few years back. Decided to try POF. Spent money and tried messaging different ladies only to be told that they had their messaging turned off. But in their profiles it actually says to message them. Some of these women I knew previously. When I ran into these ladies later I asked them why they had their messages turned off. They said they never had it turned off. POF scam. Also, POF said they would notify me to renew my subscription but they just put through my bank card

This website is not worth the effort. I’ve used it on multiple occasions for men. When trying to make a connection with a woman online, you need to have something extraordinary to say. Or she will just ignore you. It doesn’t matter how beautiful or ugly you are. As a man, I would say that women are more successful in getting messages and all things. If you send messages to more than four women, it is a waste of time. Being honest.

First, Plenty of Fish is not for everyone. The website’s administrators set a limit on who can message whom. I have found that people between 10 and 15 years old cannot send messages to anyone. POF seems to be so open to listening and believing in little complaints, and quickly gives out bans and profile deletions without warnings.

They don’t care if you send screen shots. They have taken screen shots of everything I violated, but my account is blocked. The same jobless losers who report you for not answering

They need to verify everyone on the site. Verify people are actually who they claim to be. 9 out of 10 profiles I dealt with were fake profiles, scammers, cat fishers! Pathetic! 3 months and not one connection with a real, legit man. You have to spend extra money on verifying sites to protect your self. That’s bull$#*! for you pay for the membership! There are ways POF can verify before allowing anyone to sign on and create a profile, And it’s not free!

Markus owned this site. It is a waste both of time and money now that Match owns it. I decided to give it a try and bought a 1-year membership for $120. The same people I saw 7 years ago were still there. Many have disabled messaging, meaning that you must like them or not send any messages. A lot of young women post their ages as much as 30-40 years earlier than what is visible in their profiles. This might not be a problem for younger people but it is alarming how many women my age and younger have more wrinkles that a pair of bad pants.
